An interview is required to join, along with a refundable deposit of approximately $5,000. Materials and practice supplies are not included. Hands-on training begins once the instructor determines the student is ready—this depends on how dedicated you are during practice.

Our goal is to help you start working with real clients and earning income within one month. You'll get live model experience, and as always, you keep 100% of your tips. A minimum commitment of 30 hours per week is required, and weekend availability is possible.

What Will You Learn?

You’ll learn the fundamentals of permanent makeup, including microblading, ombre powder brows, lip blushing, scalp micropigmentation, and basic tattoo techniques such as mini and small tattoos, lining, shading, and color packing—all in beginner-friendly placements.

The program also reveals insider secrets on how to work with different skin types, machines, and pigments, so you can achieve better results with less trial and error. You’ll learn real-world marketing strategies, how to conduct effective consultations, and deliver great customer service.

Jimmy T. will guide you in building a strong portfolio, giving you the tools to start attracting paying clients right away.

And if you take your practice seriously and love the craft, you can move on to advanced techniques such as:

• Nano machine hair stroke brows

• Winged eyeliner

• Larger tattoos in various styles and detailed designs

How Much Money and Time Will You Spend?

This Paid Apprenticeship requires a $5,000 USD deposit. Once you complete 1 year of the apprenticeship, earn over $25,000 (tips not included), and follow all store policies, your full deposit will be returned. Minimum commitment: 30 hours per week

After about a month—or as soon as you’re ready—we’ll start sending you clients. You’ll earn on a 50/50 revenue split, and you always keep 100% of your tips.

This program is designed to help you succeed while also allowing Jimmy T. to reinvest in future students. It’s a true win-win: you learn valuable skills, start earning quickly, and potentially get your entire deposit back.

Materials typically cost between $500 to $1,000, and machines can range from $500 to several thousand dollars, depending on the brand and features.

However, Jimmy T. does not want you to buy anything right away. He has a wide variety of machines available for you to test and compare before making a purchase, so you can find what truly suits your style and budget.

All we ask is that you treat the tools with care and respect while using them during your training.

What Are the Student’s Responsibilities?

Please understand—there’s no such thing as a free lunch. In this apprenticeship, students are expected to support Jimmy T. with basic daily tasks, such as:

• Cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace

• Answering phone calls

• Assisting with client consultations

• Helping with customer care

• Taking photos and videos for documentation and marketing

Once you’re ready, you’ll begin working with real clients and start earning money. The goal is simple: teacher and student grow together, support each other, and build success as a team.

In this Paid Apprenticeship, we don’t follow a fixed schedule or set hours. Instead, we adjust the training based on your progress and current industry demand.

When you first start, we’ll focus on building a strong foundation in the basic techniques and the most popular or high-demand services. For example, if we’re seeing rapid growth in mini tattoos, then we’ll place more emphasis on mini tattoo training to help you capitalize on those opportunities.

Can Students Choose to Learn Only a Few Techniques?

This Paid Apprenticeship is not designed for students who only want to learn a few select services or techniques.

Jimmy T. has experienced this before—when students limit their learning, it often leads to him doing everything himself, which defeats the purpose of the program. This apprenticeship is built around full-skill training, where each technique supports and reinforces the others.

Many skills in PMU and tattooing overlap and complement one another, and learning them together helps you progress faster and more confidently. Within a short time, you'll be equipped to perform a wide range of body art services—giving you more opportunities to earn and grow.

How Much Can Students Earn?

In the first month, students will mainly focus on practice. During this time, we may also provide live models who receive free services to give you real hands-on experience.

By the second month, our goal is for students to begin earning around $100 or more per day (not including tips). After six months, students often reach the point where they can consistently earn $200 or more per day.

Of course, these numbers cannot be guaranteed—they depend entirely on:

• How fast you learn

• How hard you practice

• How seriously you take the training

• How much time you dedicate

• How many services can you offer to customers

• And most importantly, how much you love the art of what you do

But as long as you follow the system and trust Jimmy T., your goals can become reality. We truly believe this is a solid path to earning 6 figures a year and building a successful career in body art.

How This Apprenticeship Compares to Other Body Art Education

This Paid Apprenticeship Program is designed for students who are truly passionate about learning body art—but are also concerned about not having income during their training. In today’s economy, that’s a valid worry—and it’s exactly why we created this program.

Unlike most courses in this industry, which often last just a few days or one week, this program offers long-term, hands-on experience with real clients, real feedback, and real support. Yes, some short classes are great, but what happens after?

• What if you don’t have live experience?

• What if you don’t have a portfolio?

• What if you don’t have a studio?

• How will you troubleshoot real-world problems?

Chances are, you’ll end up spending far more money than expected trying to figure things out on your own. Jimmy T. knows this first-hand—because he went through it himself.

Jimmy T. is one of the few body art artists who truly mastered a wide range of techniques. He shares his experience openly on his YouTube channel "Married with PMU" and offers in-depth guidance through his PMU 101 Online Class. Everything he teaches in this apprenticeship is based on trial, error, and proven results—not theory.

To build a strong income in this industry, you need more than one or two skills. You need diverse knowledge, hands-on experience, and confidence. That’s exactly what this apprenticeship provides.

Who Is a Good Fit for This Apprenticeship?

We’re looking for motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:

• 18 years or older

• Legally eligible to work in the United States

• Willing to commit to a 1-year apprenticeship

• Available to dedicate a minimum of 30 hours per week

• Passionate about body art, permanent makeup, and tattoos

• Willing to work hard and practice consistently

• Located in Las Vegas or open to joining our Phoenix, AZ location (opening soon)

• Able to complete an interview and sign a contract

• Responsible, professional, and positive personality

• No prior experience required — just a willingness to learn all the basics of body art

• Willing to follow company policies, industry standards, and hygiene practices

• Must be drama-free, have a good attitude, and maintain professionalism
